Rail:
the nearest train station is located at Duke Street in the Waterside area of Londonderry city and can be reached from the airport in just a few minutes by either bus or taxi. The train takes passengers to a number of destinations each day such as Ballymena, Coleraine, Portrush, Castlerock and Limavady.
Bus:
the Ulsterbus carrier provides a regular scheduled service between the airport and Derry's main bus depot on Foyle Street. There are also regular services to destinations in Northern Ireland such as Limavady, Maiden City and Belfast. Eireann also runs a service between the airport and the Foyle Street station and from here it is possible to take a connecting bus to a wide range of destinations.
Taxi:
the airport's taxi rank is conveniently located in front of the airport terminal and there are plenty of taxis available here for private hire. The fare from the airport to Derry City Centre is not exorbitant.
Car:
the City of Derry Airport is located seven miles north east of Derry on the main A2 Londonderry to Coleraine road. Passengers driving from Derry simply need to head to the Caw roundabout at the eastern end of the Foyle Bridge and follow the airport signs along the A2.
Those arriving from Belfast should follow the M2 northbound onto the M22 and then turn off the motorway onto the A6 to Derry, passing through Toome and Dungiven. Take the A2 at Derry and follow the signs leading to the airport.
