Short-term parking:
parking at either of the two car parks is free for the first few minutes, which means that those who are driving to the airport to drop off or pick up friends or relatives can do so free of charge.
Long-term parking:
anyone who wishes to park at the airport for more than 15 minutes will need to pay a small fee. Visitors need to pay parking charges at the automatic pay station located in the terminal exit lobby before returning to their vehicle. This automatic pay station accepts notes and coins, while those who wish to pay by cheque or credit card should visit the staffed pay station at the airport information desk.
Parking for special needs:
specially designated car parking spaces can be found in the main car park nearest to the terminal and there are concessions on car parking fees for disabled badge holders.

There are five well-known car hire companies located right at the City of Derry Airport, namely Avis, Europcar, Ford, Hertz and Abe King.
